The Ignition Lock Cylinder is where you insert your keys for you to start your vehicle. It is an assembly part that helps start the engine by igniting compressed gasoline. Over time, the cylinder won't turn due to worn keys or the pins inside the cylinder being damaged preventing you to unlock the ignition and starting your vehicle.
If your vehicle would not start, your keys would not turn or your vehicle would not turn off even with the keys removed then you may have a damaged or broken ignition lock cylinder. It is located beside the steering wheel of your vehicle where you insert your key. It can be accessed by taking the radio panel of with a screw driver and removing a few screws.
This ignition lock cylinder comes with a set of keys. After replacement, your anti theft system will blink and your vehicle will be able to relearn the keys just by leaving the ignition to on for 10 minutes or so, turn it off then start the vehicle again.
